| Alan started with Photobition Ltd in 1979, after a back injury halted his career as a mechanic. With Photobition Alan carried out stand photography and colour printing, he left Photobition in 1986, to set up on his own. Alan and his wife Wendy, carried out photography and printing for a variety of clients, which included, Getty Images-, Blip marketing- and, T.V. productions, for "Julian Grant", such as Super Champs- Run the Gauntlet - Ice Warriors , Pure Strength, and Scavengers, these events took them all over the country and abroad. Alan also worked at the Dome and Vinopolis ( wine warehouse ) for a design Company "Kimpton Walker". When Alan and Wendy moved to the Island Alan missed photography and printing so much,he ventured into the world of Digital, and wow what a differance, not having to go into the darkroom to produce everything. But of course it was not that simple, it has been very demanding to come to terms with the new technology, of which of course never ends, but is very interesting, and as with everything worthwhile, continues to grow.
